Yes and no; drive space is hardly expensive these days, and you should
definitely  have  enough  free space on your mailbox drive to make the
space  taken  up  by  message delimiters inconsequential. With that in
mind,  as  Tripp  mentions,  what's more important is the precision of
your  space  allocation--that  is,  if  you are renting people message
storage space, you want to give them what they pay for.
