which of these solution sounds best?
1.  Have COX do all my DNS entries for me? Like Sprint did when it
worked.  I am roing to reconfig the routers and PIX this weekend for
COX IPs.

That would probably be the easiest option. Their IPs, their DNS.


2. Get Registar to make the PTR records?

This would still require the cooperation of COX -- it takes one job and splits it among 2 companies rather than just one. That gives each company the opportunity to point the finger at the other -- and you have to figure out who is really at fault. If you have COX handle it, and it isn't working, they must fix it.


3. Have COX delegate the IPs to me and Bring up my own DNS server?

That would actually be the best option, as you would have full control. However, it is a bit more difficult to set it up this way.
