What till this weekend when I switch to COX and bring up my own DNS and get cox to delgate the auth to me for my IP rang?

Contact Sprint and ask them to stop being auth for citravel.com?
yes, obviously, their kludge isn't working in practice, as you report. (who knows what records they have in their spoofed copy of your zone file vs. the official copy in the delegated servers?)

Assume nonthing. There are 1000's of cases stale authority, lame delegation, stale delegation records.
