Hi, Just a thought... since your ORIGINATING IP address is different, it could be that Earthlink has a list of IP addresses they will accept smtp traffic FROM or To.
Since your originating IP address has technically changed, perhaps you need to notify Earthlink (assuming they are proving you with a full-time connection of some sort). They are PROBABLY forcing all your outgoing mail through their servers and your new Originating IP address is most likely not listed in their "allowed to relay" to table. (from the original message you sent). The mail server was located on private IP 192.168.0.2 but answered to 199.44.118.2 via NAT. My new configuration with the PIX is basically the same. The external port of the PIX is 199.44.118.253 but all traffic shows as coming from 199.44.118.252 (not sure why my PIX programmer did this, I'm not a firewall person). The mail server is still on private IP 192.168.0.2 but answers to public 199.44.118.2. According to www.dnsreport.com and www.dnsstuff.com, my DNS is setup properly, I am not listed on any spam lists, and I am not an open relay. Hopefully this clarifies things. Hank has not clarified what mail is going through the other gateway and/or why.
