So you don't believe that the registry hack to open ports above 5000 will
make any difference.  Correct?

The server has multiple IP Addresses because it is also a shared web server.
I'm not familiar with the "IP aliases" term, unfortunately there are a ton
of things I'm not familiar with. :((  But the additional IPs need to be on
the server for the web sites.
