First of all we are using Imail 8.05 hotfix 1 with Declude using the sniffer spam definitions service.
The accuracy is amazing. However as a an ISP we can't be to aggressive with our spam deleting, incase we delete a users important valid e-mail message. But we have an idea. Our idea is to use the webmail interface to create a spam folder and a filter rule for each user that moves the spam tagged messages to that folder. But they can stay there forever and fill up the 20 megs we allow our customers to have for e-mail. So here is the question. 1) How can you automate the creation of this folder and rule filter for each new account when it is created? And how can we run a process to do it of all existing mail accounts? 2) How can we automate a process that removes all messages more than x days old (the day quantity would be global, not user specific but set by us as a policy, say 30 days to begin with). The process would run nightly and go to each spam folder on each users mail box and kill all the messages in the spam folder that are older than 30 days. This would allow us to provide our users a very clean inbox and the ability to use their webmail access to go and check if they think are missing an legit message. This would be a powerful offering to our customers.
