It amazes me how subjects morph in here <grin>.
Actually, this one didn't morph nearly as much as some threads.
The first response to the original post in the thread had 4 sentences, including "... make sure that there is only one DNS server listed there ...". That was directly related to the thread. So:

This is an explanation of why there should only be one DNS server listed. Since it is related to the original advice, it isn't too far off-topic. :)
