This isn't a problem with the "implicit MX" algorithm, it's a problem
with people who don't know how to set up DNS.
If you have an MX record, "implicit MX" is disabled, and no one should
then be hitting the A record unless they're broken.

It's only bad if it happens because of a _broken_ MTA algorithm;
"implicit MX" is not inherently broken, though it is becoming
increasingly deprecated.
