This practice is so common all the major doamins allow you to type their
domains with out a host and arrive directly at their website. How does that
translate to not knowing how to setup DNS?

are setup???

When almost all domains now setup an 'A' record for their domain (basically
a wildcard) that points to their web server. I would say that it is very
deprecated and should no longer be used.

The would you consider Imails algorithm broken. Since it will send to the
'A' record for the domain???
