If a admin does not know enough about the mail delivery process to setup MX
records then their mail should not be delivered. A system that picks a
server not knowing if it is the proper server can cause many hours of lost
time tracking down where an email went. Especially if they do not know
enough to setup MX records???

Thank you for the input I now have a better understanding.
