We're having trouble with one of the client IMail servers behind the firewall.
It isn't getting reverse DNS lookups properly. When we run at DNSStuff, it is in a loop.

http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/ptr.ch?ip=mail.dcstransusa.com

The problem is:

; dcstransusa.com
$TTL 86400
@ SOA ns1.cydian.com. domain-admin.cydian.com. ( 0406181342 3600 1800
604800 86400 )
@ NS ns1.cydian.com.
@ NS ns2.cydian.com.

@ A 208.34.50.251
@ MX 10
mail.dcstransusa.com.
mail A
208.34.50.241
www A
208.34.50.251

Am I missing something obvious here?

There is no reverse DNS defined here. You need a zone file for 241.50.34.208.in-addr.arpa, that has "241.50.34.208.in-addr.arpa. PTR mail.dcstransusa.com." in it.

That's because Sprint is saying "For the PTR record for 208.34.50.241, go to ns1.cydian.com or ns2.cydian.com and ask it for the PTR record for 241.50.34.208.in-addr.arpa". Your DNS server won't know to use the dcstransusa.com zone file; it's going to try to find the zone file for 241.50.34.208.in-addr.arpa.
