Ask the Provider of the Internet connection (Sprint?) to set up a
reverse DNS record (IPofTheServer.in-addr.arpa) pointing to the domain
of the mail server (the one which is specified in "Host Name"-entry in Imail) and
everything schould be fine.
His IPs already have records in the parent zone's NS, and they are NS delegation records delegating to his NSs, so Sprint can't add PTR records for his IPs because the Sprint NSs are not authoritative for his reverse zones.
