You can look in the Dead mail folder to see if it gave up and shoved them in
there.  The other thing to try would be a simple telnet session from your
new gateway to the destination server and see how that works. 

And I'm not sure, but someone else may remember, but I thought there were 2
things you had to change to run the IMS server as a gateway -- you had to
add the destination IP and then remove the domains that were in the "accept
mail for" portion of the control panel applet for IMS.

As per Randy's instructions, I entered the gateway mailserver address in the
control panel, restarted EMWACS, and the mail disappeared from the holding
tanks.

Trouble is, it didn't arrive!

There are no entries in the outlog file, but entries in the inlog file
corresponding to the mail. The incoming, domains and holding folders are all
empty.

I have asked the owner of the gateway mailserver for any signs of life, but
have no response yet.

Any ideas?
