Thanks Tabish, for pointing to *Lecanthus obtusus* (Royle) Hand.-Mazz. - it
has very limited distribution in India - endemic to Himachal Pradesh, Jammu
& Kashmir, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand.
Hoping that Garg ji and other friends familiar with this genus will give
their thoughts and resolve the ID.
