Thank you for introducing yourself, you seem like an avid graphics experimenter! Having a technical background will make translations easier for you (not because of the terminology, but because of the tools). What is it that doesn't work with your first translation? (Artur translated the website po file to Polish) CMS pages are redirected to English, when there's no contents at all for the language, so that's the reason for the language chooser taking no effect on the start page for Polish yet - but if you go to the gallery or your profile page, you will see your translations on the website. Was that what you mean? Please ask any questions you may have - we'll be glad to answer them!
