Hello all,

I found a wonderful book last year, and I even bought it from Koorong!! It
is called 'Walk On: the spiritual journey of U2' by Steve Stockman (2002).
Although it is a book about a rock band, I think that anyone who reads it,
regardless of whether they are a U2 fan or even a music fan could get some
great messages about what it is the Church should be doing to follow
Christ's word in today's world. Stockman is a Presy minister in Ireland
and
has taken quotes and interviews by members of the band and those close to
them to give a picture of how a rock and roll band is doing more for the
Kingdom of God than some Churches. It also looks at the biblical and
theological basis of the aid work that had lead singer Bono quoted at 12/1
to win the Nobel Peace Prize (thank you John!!)
