With slackware, when you say the installation would begin, what
do you mean several megs into the process. At what point? Have you setup
partitions and swap space? Source and target install points?
My install went without any problems. I didn't install from CD, but from
the dos partition.
My 3200 with linux is very reliable with 3Com575BT,3Com 56K modem
I'm using the 2.0.35 kernel and OSS for sound and the
pcmcia-3.0.6-Oct20-snapshot.
Congrats go to all the linux developers out there.
