So what ever happened with this? Now that I'm getting around to updating some ports to show vlans, I find that 4.6.3 still has this problem. Setting a network label to show vlan, it shows the number twice.. going back to reset the label, and sure enough, it has "<VLAN><VLAN>". So I remove one, and its still showing the number twice.. go back in, and its in there twice again....

Cisco 2950 switches, both snmp traffic probe, and cisco process and cpu probe..

Hi Bill

just answered to Dartware #59523

that the VLAN information in the interface window is correct.
I agree with your "funny interaction in the construction of the
network label" theory.
And yes I can reproduce it.
I wanted to send some "very small" screenshots in the first mail to
show you
the behavior of my installation but this list will not allow it :-(

If you like I can do it from the intermapper "send screenshot feature".

just installed the new 4.6 version on my OSX 10.4 machine but found a
little bug
in the new VLAN feature.

I wanted to add the VLAN information to a network label from a
switch port.

But what a surprise... I got 55 instead of 5

So I reopened the "edit network label" dialog and found that the
"<VLAN>" tag appears also 2 times.
So I deleted the second one but it reappears by itself.

Is this a bug or a feature ????? ;-)

I'm not sure. I have not been able to reproduce yet. It sounds like
a funny interaction in the construction of the
network label. Please verify that the correct vlan is reported in
the Interfaces window.
