Patrick,

InterMapper should record the 'down' event to the Event log as soon as it
detects that the device is down. What is the poll interval set to?

How long does Intermapper wait until recording in the log files that a
device is down?  We have an issue with some weird things happening with our
VoIP system and I need to tie it to when our network was having issues.
There is a 5 min difference between Intermapper logs and the VoIP system
logs.  If I can prove that there is a delay when logs are created within
Intermapper then I can put this case to bed.  We do have an notification
sent when a device is down and is its delayed 5 mins.  Could that be why the
logs have a 5 min difference?
