Ah. That explains the error. I certainly don't want to lose my
statusbar, so I'll stick with floating dock.

When is there likely to be? It's certainly working a lot better than
most of the "unstable" programs I've used.

As has been explained elsewhere, that's the only build of Ion3 which is
marked as "stable"; the more recent ones (such as 20051023) are marked
as unstable, so I didn't want to risk installing them.
If I do change over to the "unstable" for Ion3, how often and badly
are things going to get broken?
