I went and read that (along with the many comments). . .and the guy is either a
troll or refuses to understand that he has misread the EULA. While I didn't
read the whole EULA either . . .the parts he quotes say that if you use iBooks
Author to create an epub then the output must either be free or sold only
through the iBook Store. It specifically talks about "output" only and does not
address any input files.

Many of the commenters pointed out that this was not unreasonable . ..and that
he could take the same source Word file that he ran through IBA to produce an
iBook and run it through whatever else to make a Kindle edition of the same
source file.

However . . .this guy is outraged because (according to him) the EULA gives
Apple sole publishing rights to the file and that if they choose not to publish
it in the iBook Store then it can't be published for profit at all. Again,
numerous people pointed out that only the iBooks format output was restricted
but that using whatever else to take the Word or Pages file and produce an epub
for Amazon was perfectly allowed . . .but his mind is made up.
