Two points of clarification:
(1) We did not "vote down" site-locals. The chairs asked
for a show of hands on the issue, to allow us to
determine if there was WG consensus to deprecate
site-locals. In the case, the chairs (Bob Hinden
and I) did believe that consensus was reached within
the room to deprecate site-locals. (2) Like all consensus points that are reached in meetings,
this issue will be checked on the mailing list.
Bob and I will send a formal consensus check to the
list shortly.Margaret
