Hi [~madani], is HBASE-6073's scanner closing not more related to HBASE-3852?
We should handle that separately.
I am going to create an umbrella issue to bring Thrift2 into shape, let's add
it there.
I do now understand what you are saying about filter lists and how ParseFilter
is already handling vs. HBASE-6073, which is lacking features in comparison. I
was also looking at HBASE-5428, which we need to port (among a few others), and
it uses ParseFilter too as-is. So I think we should close out HBASE-6073, apply
your patch here, and add a new issue for the scanner closing part of
HBASE-6073. You want to do that latter part?
