I got both video and audio working unfortunately it is on the S-video option not the tuner option. Since I was getting audio using the no_black_magic=1 patch on the Svidoe0 input I just changed the following two lines in the CX25840_TAG('S','-','v','i','d','e','o'), section
CX25840_SET_CH_1__SOURCE(0x0006), *** I changed the value from 0x0000 to 0x0006
CX25840_SET_CH_3__SOURCE(0x0001), *** I changed the value from 0x0000 to 0x0001
Then I selected svideo0 as an input and everything worked I get great picture and great audio.
I hope someone can use this information to turn it into an appropriate patch. I really don't know how......
