I saw your posts at the end of the thread but I wasn't
quite sure what you mean by "artifacts"---are you saying that the patch creates
an entirely new problem? If I understand you correctly, it sounds like your
first suggestion (to use the firmware from the 2.0.43.24054
driver) might have solved my first problem (snow on both tuners), and the
patch might fix my second problem?

LOL! That was a thread I was involved in.. When you mentioned the new porblem I thought about that but there are two problems. The patch did not fix my problem it created a distorted picture on both tuners that was channel dependent. The second is that patch is for a samsung tuner.
