No, no beta software as a base! I've had a MythTV host up on CentOS 4.2 for over a year. But it was such a pain using a custom kernel and having to recompile IVTV, LIRC, etc. every time that I just stopped updating the machine once I got it working. Now I'm trying to stick to stock kernels so I can use *your* repository. (Thanks, BTW). Do you know what the status is for XFS support in the RHEL5 beta kernel? If it's not there then that's a no-go for me and it's back to custom kernel land.
