Hi Rob, Good you step in too!

A conversion tool or super include is not the way to go. > Since the Jallib developers are mostly experienced PIC programmers > feedback from beginners is very welcome! What we see is that when people need this guide, they are not capable of writing it. They might write down their experience though, so in time they have all info they needed. But at that point, the document seems not so important any more... This seems to be the general attitude towards this issue: a lot of people say it is important, but few actually show this by spending time on the subject. > But when people are too lazy to study our docs or to convert their > programs to Jallib convention: pity, good luck with finding something > better! True again. But we should not stop thinking if / how we can make the use of jallib more easy, either through the code provided or other 'products' like documentation. This brings me to an issue where I'd like to know you opinion about: what do you think of 'defaults' and standard configurations like configure_clock(20_000,false) -- false: not internal clock ?
