Swordfish was getting way out of date with inc files we now have a

Who is 'we' in 'we have a program ...'?
I don't have it, so apparently I'm not a member of 'we'.

Back to MPLAB-X its not going to be like the old mplab and your not
really seeing the full blown ide It's going to be more modular.

That doesn't solve my problem.

Now you get the whole ball of wax MPLAB MPASM in one deal

This one will let you have what you want

You don't know me: I always want something better, at least something different.

.You need MPASMWIN version 5.36 or later to operate within MPLAB X IDE.

It's using the device files from MPASM which I'm sure your converter can
be changed to do it the same as the rest do.

It looks like you have not compared the .dev files and .inc files.

The swordfish Inc are not far from the jalv2 files only a little
different naming

Send me the conversion program (when it is not Windoze-only) and I could have a look.

Regards, Rob.
