Hi Marko,

You don't need interrupts for designing a clock, however can be done with
interrupts either.
Take a look to this one (it's in jalv04 with assembler, but you will
probably understand the ideea how the multiplexing scheme works):

The answer to your question is probably the procedure named "display"
