i have posted a preliminary version of my pendulum applet. i would very
much appreciate it if some of you could load it and see how it performs on
your various platforms and let me know of any bugs or suggestions for
improvement.

tell me if the animation is smooth or jerks around... i have run it now on a
linux box with dual Pentium 3 900MHZ processors and also on a windows box
with a single 466 celeron processor and the applet behaves better on the
windows box for rendering but of course the dual processors calculate many
more frames per second but, i suspect that XFree 3 isn't performing well
compared to windows...
please let me know and thanks beforehand...
