Kent, I use both on my system. I have the OpenGL SDK installed, but I also have the DirectX RT installed. This way, I can develop under one, then run under the other. By doing this, I can quickly determine if there's an issue with one of the two implementations. So far, I've only run into a problem once and Sun quickly addressed it.
