Hello All,

I have a question on hardware lighting, which is best illustrated by an example:

Assume I have 12 separate groups, each of which contains some geometry and a
single light. Each light is scoped to its group only. If the scene is rendered
from a position where all the geomtry is visible, will I still get the
advantages of hardware lighting, e.g. on my GeForce 2, which I believe is
limited to 8 concurrent lights ?

I.E. Is the fact that each piece of geometry illuminated by <= 8 lights
sufficient to keep the hardware acceleration ?

The reason I ask is that my lights are *not yet* scoped as described, and I
want to know if rescoping them as described will resolve the issue.

Thanks
Rob
