In the paragraph before my statement I was quoting Paul, who woundered if
Blackdown could develope the Java3D API further:

If Blackdown did develop the API further then it would NOT be cross platform
in the sense that it would not work under windows unless somebody developed a
corrosponding windows implementation of these advancements.

It's all hypothetical regardless because Blackdown probably can't legally do
that anyway (althoughI am sure they would be capable).
