check using 32x32 Textures,
textures has to be, so far as I know (...), also squarred
and will correct transformed to the given Geometry,
using the given or produced texturecoords.
e.g. a squarred world map is placed at the sphere
complete and will correct diplayed,
But of cause the texture has to be a square to a power of 2 value
