Yes, you did. I hate pedants, by the way. Fair warning. A) Gladwell's drug addled rantings don't have any logic or scientific merit. The point of his books is that they make you think, and that they are fun to read. That's where it ends. You don't refer to his premises as having actual value; that just makes you look naive. B) Rolling with it and presuming for a moment that Gladwell's mind farts are accurate, who, other than you and the OP, have a negative gut reaction to JavaFX? I'm talking about the actual language, not the -concept- (you can always find droves of people who dislike change. I don't need proof that water is wet, either. I'll just take that as a given). C) The apple rolling its own VM issue has been discussed a gazillion times.
