Exactly. Even Google is "The man", pardon, "The men". I think that
since the past year the "Community" should have started asking itself
how relevant it is, and what should be done to be more relevant.
Indeed, it seems to me that the "Community" either celebrates itself
by greatly overrating its own power of controlling where the industry
is going or plays some moralism against "The men" when all of a sudden
it realizes that they are still driving the game, moralism which of
course is totally irrelevant. The point is that the poor, old, bashed
Sun has been a fantastic and unrepeatable anomaly.

Back to the current case, I wouldn't be much worried about Java or
Android. There will be just tons of FUD around, but in the end they
will settle an agreement. Just keep on be worried about how to improve
your skills as usual.
