This is another sad chapter in Java's history...

In my opinion, pulling out of JavaOne this way is not going to help the Java
community now, or is it ? Especially for people not related to Oracle. And
certainly for those who were counting on Google's sessions.

Sorry to say it, but this was not exactly a mature thing to do.

Again in my personal opinion, I miss the point about how this is going to
hurt Oracle. I would agree were Google to abandon Java altogether right now
to start on their own. But I guess they aren't. I'm afraid this only hurts
Java and its community.


Whether we like it or not, Java is now owned by Oracle and we better get
used to the idea if we still want to use it...
