I think what I found most interesting is the suggestion that IBM are
to put their resources into OpenJDK rather than Apache Harmony now, as
suggested here:

Does this have any implications for Android, which as I understand it
uses the Harmony class libraries?

The optimist in me like to think this is a precursor to some kind of
resolution in that regard...
