Pre-iPhone there was Symbian, Windows Mobile 6 and Blackberry 4 (?). None of them had a decent web browser nor an application marketplace that worked for developers nor a good user interface. Because the iPhone at least iOS devices and Android have all of that, with Microsoft, RIM and Symbian trying to get there, too. Unless Apple completely disappears, I think there's no going back. No matter what you think of Apple, they pushed the industry into this direction, and that was good for consumers. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Java Posse" group.
