I am running a XP Pro machine with 1 GB RAM and JAWS 7. Hate to say it, but increasing the memory from the original 512 MB didnhelped JAWS run better...but not much.
I might be wrong, but I've often wondered if the resource problem doesn't come from Eloquence and that a separate soundcard or speech synthesizer might solve a great part of the problem. I've also wondered if different JAWS configurations are available, i.e. a version for users who don't use the braille functionality, for instance. Pardon my ignorance; I might be way out in left field on both ideas. Paul At 09:40 AM 2/14/2008, you wrote: >Hi, whatever! My laptop came with 2 GB of RAM, and JAWS is working fine >here!
