Does the Alt key alone bring you to the menus? Try pressing the space after
separately pressing Alt and JAWS says "File". Perhaps some of your keys are
not working properly?

Hi Donald, I find this is happening with all of my programs, most notably
in Outlook Express, Internet Explorer and Firefox.
No matter what I do, alt+space will not bring up the system menu, no
matter
what I try.
At first, I thought this might be a Jaws issue, but, from the looks of
things, and what everyone has said thus far, it doesn't seem to be.
Anyone got any ideas?
