Still a work in progress. Using the most recent version I wondered what
would happen if I from the run line typed jaws12 /default. I wondered if the
start menu would read properly. It did!

I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I'll probably screw that one up
too.

Hi Lm Morris,
Tell me exactly what build of Jaws12, if it is 32 or 64 bit, that you are
running & I'll send you the steps on how to repair it. Take care.

Repare doesn't appear to be an option either in add or remove programs nor
is this an option on the Jaws dvd. BTW, that was good advice, because I
indeed have v11 on the system.

Hi LM Morris,
If Jaws12 is the only version of Jaws you have on the computer you can
uninstall both but, if you have another version of Jaws on the computer do
not uninstall shared components! If you uninstall the shared components
with another version of Jaws on the computer the other version / bersions
will not work either. Have you tried doing a repair on your Jaws12? Take
care.

Well, if you want a totally clean install, install both. That way, you
will
know if jaws is the problem. Jim
