Also, don't uninstall shared components if you also have Open Book on
your system.

If Jaws12 is the only version of Jaws you have on the computer you can 
uninstall both but, if you have another version of Jaws on the computer
do 
not uninstall shared components!  If you uninstall the shared components

with another version of Jaws on the computer the other version /
bersions 
will not work either.  Have you tried doing a repair on your Jaws12?
