did you get recent update for MSE through the window's update?
I had one for both win 7 systems, this was not in the optional updates list

Hmm, interesting.  So is it possible that MSE is flagging my computer as
potentially unprotected because I am running XP, support for which ends on
Tuesday, even though support for the XP version of MSE will continue until
July, 2015?  Or is it because there is a harmful item in the quarantined
items folder that I am unable to remove?
