thanks for the info. I didn't install it. I have restored my computer back to a much later date, which now the former Adobe REader 10.1.9 is back, this is the version that has been on this laptop since I first got it, I haven't had any issues with it. So, the only thing that puzzles me is, the recent install of IE 10, because the last time the Adobe Reader worked was in June, it's the last PDF I have read and dl from my bank that is. Now, trying to read a new PDF, I get the error msg. I just need to know how to fix it so it works again.
