Because of its high vulnerability to hacker attacks, I uninstalled JRE from
my XP system some time ago, which did not affect the performance of Adobe
Reader in any way. So I don't think installing JRE will resolve your
problem with Adobe Reader, and it could make your system less secure.

Trish,
Did you uninstall the 10.9 version? If so, do you have the Java Runtime
Environment installed on your computer? Some of these programs require it
to
run normally. It can be found at www.oracle.com/java. Pick the Java JRE
to
download.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Adobe Reader
I need help please.
I have installed Adobe 11 because when I tried to use Adobe 10.19 I got
an
error message saying this..
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C...
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an
unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more
information.
So now, when I installed 11 and try to open it, it just does nothing, it
shows it's installed in programs/features, but I cannot get the program
to
open.
I am using window's 7 and Jaws 15.
*that error msg was on Adobe 10.19 not on 11
Thanks,
Trish
