You have got to expect a few losses in a big operation. I agree it is too bad about contractions.

I notice that eloquence is not very good at correctly pronouncing contractions (it's you're, etc.) and there seems to be no way to adjust this. Apparently the speech settings in Openbook for menus and reading do not carry over to the text-to-audio feature. A shame, since it really distracts from the reading enjoyment. I contacted FS about this, and they agreed that there is no way to change this behavior.
