Using outlook open the email, , then simply press shift, tab. When you hear
your attachment announced, copy it and paste it into your documents file or
wherever you want it.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Can't access an attachment in outlook

Hi All,

I received an email from a work colleague that has an attachment. I know
this because outlook tells me there's an attachment as does the text of the
email. But no matter what I do, I can't locate the attachment to either open
or save it. There's no attachment tab and when I explore with the jaws
cursor there is no attachment either at the top or the bottom of the email.

I've gotten other emails like this and I assume the inaccessibility has
something to do with how the sender attaches the document. But I'm not
certain what method produces this result.

Can anyone help? This attachment is the template for a report I need to
prepare, so it's pretty important that I gain access to it.

Thanks,
Kimber
