Yes, I copied the DBX files to the thumb drive.

On my old computer, I was told to go into the tools menu, over to options, 
tab to the maintenance tab and copy that long path name.  this was done 
after I created a folder on my desktop so that I can place the Outlook 
Express folders into the created folder.

Then I went to the run dialog box and pasted the path name there and pressed 
enter.  I'm drawing a blank as to what I did after that.  However, I 
successfully placed it on the thumb drive.

Just to not cause any confusion, I only exported the address book adn that 
was a while ago.

I'll try doing a system restore and I'll see what that does.
