Well folks, here's my experience: When I hit the numpad 5 by itself, it says the letter and then the phonetic. However, for the whole word (jaws key and 5), it says the word, then spells it, and that's all she wrote!!! That's interesting I just did a test in this email and using the keys you said..jaws key and the numpad 5 and it spelled the word it was on..default and also did it phonetically. I looked in my configurations manager and the item is checked so must be a flukey thing on your end..
